i’ve been patiently waiting for the subbed episodes of hot shot.. however, it’ll probably take a long time before i could watch the complete episodes of it with subs.. i also would like to watch invincible shan bao mei, but the subbing progress of this drama seems to be slow also.. not that i’m complaining, i really appreciate all the subbers out there that help me enjoy asian dramas.. my point is, i have nothing to watch right now, so i tried watching “miss no good”, which also airs at the same time slot as hot shot and invisible shan bao mei..

i have never been into rainie yang’s dramas in the past.. for some reasons, i did not enjoy “devil beside you” and “why why love” that much.. maybe because i don’t think that she and mike he have great chemistry to begin with (i know a lot of fans out there will disagree with what i said.. peace!!!).. or maybe i just didn’t like the storylines of both dramas.. but in rainie’s new drama, i’m starting to like her.. although her character is supposedly annoying because of the appearance and high-pitched voice, i actually am enjoying the drama.. maybe you’ll enjoy it too.. so here’s the link to the subbed episodes in overstream: click here..

i’m starting to like the idea of streaming dramas, especially if the drama that i want to watch isn’t subbed yet.. currently, i’m patiently waiting for the subs by the intangiblefs for the dramas they kiss again and hot shot.. but right now, i don’t have any complete dramas at hand, i decided to look for hot shot in those streaming sites.. and thanks to xxasian87xx (who commented on this post) for telling me that hot shot is being subbed by two groups in crunchyroll, now i can finally watch the latest episodes without waiting for a very long time.. but of course, i will still download the drama once the torrent links are already availabe..

love or bread press conference

i’m very happy because finally, it’s official: ariel lin and joe cheng will be doing the series “love or bread”.. yesterday, a press conference was held to announce LOB as being a new project of gtv.. what made me happy even more was when i learned that zhang rui jia (bryant chang) is part of the cast.. i like his acting so he’s definitely another big reason for me to anticipate this drama.. i hope that he’ll get a big role here so that he’ll be noticed by a lot of people, especially the producers of dramas in taiwan.. i think he has a lot of potentials and i hope that he’ll be given a chance to act as the lead of a drama (hopefully opposite yi chen in the drama “paper rose” )..

a lot of videos, news and pics have been posted at the asianfanatics forums (of LOB and of arjoe) so may want to check them out.. also, uploaded here at the official website of ariel are the pictures from the press conference..

i’m so very excited, i can sense that there will be a lot more news, vids, pics and discussions of this drama in the coming days.. i’m especially waiting for some BTS since they have started filming this since last week..

it’s been a while since i last posted here, i’ve been busy for the past two weeks and will still be busy until october.. this will be a very quick post..

i noticed that most of the readers of this blog are interested on the new drama “invincible shan bao mei”.. it has aired its first episode last sunday and i think it was already uploaded in youtube.. but i know it’s no use for those who don’t understand chinese (like me).. until now, i haven’t find a fansubbing group that’s interested in subbing this drama.. but, luckily, there’s one overstream user named jaycee who uploads the drama with english subs.. as of now, the whole first episode isn’t completely subbed yet, but to those who want to check it out, click here for the link..

btw, the first episode includes some scenes with ji cun xi and chen xin yi (the plots of the two dramas are somewhat connected) so ftly fans should also see this episode..

any jdorama suggestion?

i noticed that the dramas that i’ve seen so far are mostly twdramas and kdramas.. my jdorama experience is only limited to dramas like hana yori dango 1&2, hana kimi japan, strawberry on the shortcake and recently, artificial beauty (although i only get to watch the 2nd half of it).. i heard a lot of good things about jdoramas.. some say that jdoramas are completely different from twdramas and kdramas.. so i’m planning to watch more jdoramas in the future (when i’m not busy anymore).. but, i don’t know what to watch first.. i have no idea which of the jdoramas available at d-addicts (with english subs) is really worth watching.. it should be interesting and good enough to hook me to these jdoramas..

so, do you have any suggestions on which dorama should i watch first?

the highly rated twdrama “fated to love you” is set to air its last episode on sunday, august 17.. since the ratings of ftly is so high, the drama that will replace it should be having a lot of pressure.. well actually, i think, it should be more of an advantage of the show, instead of a disadvantage.. of course, a lot of viewers of ftly will get to see some teasers of the new show.. also, i think most of the viewers are always curious whenever a new show is coming up, and they’ll most likely watch the first few episodes.. it will really just depends if the new drama is interesting, the casting is nice and the story line is good enough especially that its competitor is no less than hot shot, which stars three of the most popular actors in taiwan..

nicholas teo, from “smiling pasta”, is the lead male character in the new drama “invincible shan bao mei”.. it will air its first episode next week, where it will occupy the time slot of ftly.. the first plan was to reunite him with his smiling pasta co-star cindy wang.. but eventually, the role landed to a singer, new comer amber kuo.. although it would have been nice to see nicholas and cindy together, it’s also interesting to see if nicholas will also have great chemistry with other actress.. this alone, is enough reason for me to watch out for isbm.. well i guess it’s a blessing in disguise for me that i’m not living in taiwan because i don’t have to choose the drama to watch because i can always download and watch them both.. ;p

yesterday, IFS or the intangible fansub has just released the soft subs for the highly anticipated drama “hot shot”.. the hardsub version will also be available soon at d-addicts..

i haven’t watched it yet because i have other things to do.. but i get to watch the raw file last week.. although i didn’t understand what they’re saying, based from the special effects and acting of the artists, so far, so good.. well, i don’t really expect much when it comes to the script (or story) because the drama revolves around basketball.. and i think that it’s difficult to make a (very) beautiful story out of playing basketball.. but i’m still hoping that hot shot will really be “hot” among the fans..

among the three lead characters, the character of show luo seems to be the most appealing.. his good and comedic acting really contribute alot to the drama’s interest factor.. but of course, the roles of jerry yan and wu chun, as well as the two leading ladies are not bad either.. i’m really looking forward to see the rest of this drama and i hope that it won’t disappoint my expectations..

new twdrama “love or bread”

i’ve read some articles saying that ariel lin and joe cheng will be having a new idol drama called “love or bread”.. prior to that, both ariel and joe have been rumored to have upcoming individual dramas (“skip beat” and “paper rose” for ariel with jerry yan while “love or bread” for joe and barbie hsu).. well actually, ariel lin was the original choice for the lead female role of the said drama (love or bread) but somehow, it was given to barbie hsu.. it could have been also an interesting collaboration between joe and barbie, but unfortunately (or fortunately for us arjoe fans ), barbie has backed out and the role was given back to ariel..

while lurking at some forums, i’ve seen people who are excited about this new collaboration from arjoe, but there are also some who are skeptical about it because they think that it’s too soon for them to collaborate again.. in my opinion, i think there’s nothing wrong with them collaborating again this early.. they only have filmed two dramas: “it started with a kiss” and “they kiss again”.. both of these dramas are very successful.. however, ariel and joe have portrayed the same role in these two dramas (as xiang qin and zhi shu).. it would be nice to see the both of them to take on new characters or roles.. and i heard that their roles in “love or bread” will be far different from their roles in iswak and tka.. it’s a big challenge for ariel and joe to get over the characters they are so familiar of.. so, it should be enough reason for us to anticipate this new drama.. i’m really looking forward to see arjoe in a different drama with a different story line..

the filming for love or bread was originally set to begin on the last week of this month but due to conflict with the schedule of the director, the filming will be postponed for a month..

i’m certain that this blog will last for a very long time.. i have the will and determination and a vision.. right now, i’m still trying to finish all the pages that need to be published.. i’m almost done with stuffs for twdramas.. i’m about to start with kdramas earlier, but i stopped because i realized that there are a lot of kdramas and i haven’t seen even one-tenth of them.. also, if i start with kdramas (and jdoramas), it would consume all of my time that even a post like this one won;t be possible.. i will be busy until october so please just understand and bear with me.. also, since there are a lot of korean drama-related blogs out there, i’ll be dealing more with twdramas.. (just for now, don’t worry.. ;p)

today is sunday.. another episode of hot shot (twdrama) will be shown in taiwan in just a few minutes.. i’m planning to watch it live (currently, hot shot is on its third episode and it’s shown in taiwan every sundays, 10 pm) using the ppstream software.. i haven’t tried it before so it’s a new experience for me.. btw, english subbed version of hot shot ep 1 is on its way out according to ifs, i’m so very excited..

looking at the structure of my blog right now, i just realized that there’s nothing left for me to post here.. the drama reviews have their own section, the drama episode guides also have their separate section.. so, i decided that here, i’ll just talk about anything and everything that will pop to my mind, which of course, must be related, in one way or another, to asian dramas.. it could be about the drama itself, or the artists from the drama, or just anything.. so watch out for my posts.. haha, as if there’s someone really reading this..

i’ve already updated some of the pages in this blog, especially the drama index pages, the download links and the outside links.. as i’ve mentioned in my last post, the reviews and episode guides sections will be empty for a longer time because i don’t have that much time to watch and write reviews and summaries..

also, i’ll be finishing all the stuffs for taiwanese dramas first before i’ll start working on the stuffs for kdramas and jdoramas.. i know this blog is too ambitious, but i really want to do this.. this is for my self-satisfaction.. well anyway, i don’t need to rush things, i have life other than these asian dramas.. haha!.. ;p

maintaining a blog like this one is really tiring.. it requires a lot of effort and time (which i don’t have much right now).. but i still want to push through with this “project” of mine.. this is something that i really want to do ever since i’ve been hooked to these asian dramas.. i’ve seen a lot of blogs dedicated for asian dramas, and can i just say that i’ve seen really good ones.. i envy those people who finds and gives time to their blogs.. and now, it’s my turn to share my drama experience with you guys.. though i’m not sure if there will be people who’ll visit this site (because i won’t tell others about this), i’m still very excited.. just the thought of having this kind of blog really makes me feel happy (and proud?)..

hmmm.. but still, i don’t have much time right now, so the reviews and episode guides sections will be empty for a while.. but i’ll start to update the other sections.. i’ll visit this site everyday to put up all the necessary pages but i can’t promise a post everyday.. but of course, i’ll try.. ok, this is all for now..

wow!.. finally, i have my dream blog now.. i’ll try my very best to update this as frequently as possible.. but i’m very busy at this moment so this short post should be enough for the day.. haha!.. whew!.. i’m feelin’ so excited about this now..
